After June 23rd, summer vacation officially starts for most students on Long Island. Summer is a great time to unwind from the busy school year. Most people will spend their time for camp, vacationing, at the beach, swimming, playing outside, reading, etc. However summer is also a good time to keep playing your instrument if at all possible. Think about it, there are finally no excuses too much school work and no time to practice. Whether if you take music lessons over the summer, attend a music camp, or just pick up the violin to play, it is a good time to catch up and "fine tune" your technique. After all once September comes, you would be that much better for the upcoming school year!!!
